Audubon Nature Institute is a non-profit organization that manages a family of museums and parks dedicated to nature in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our public facilities include Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Entergy Giant Screen Theater and Audubon Butterfly Garden & Insectarium.

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is located along the banks of the Mississippi River in the historic French Quarter. Ranked as one of the top ten aquariums in the US, a visit to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas spans the underwater world from the Caribbean to the Amazon Rainforest to the waters that give New Orleans its lifeblood: the Mississippi River and Gulf of Mexico. Be sure to check out the ever-popular penguins, sea otters and the rare white alligators.

Your Aquarium experience includes one nature documentary movie at Entergy Giant Screen Theater, the largest screen in the Gulf South.
